The big race of the summer is the Great St Wilfrid Handicap which always attracts a maximum field and is a keen betting heat.
The track is very undulating and does not suit every horse, indeed course specialists are always worth following to get the best information before backing your horse.
The draw bias can change on soft ground but low numbers are usually favoured on the round course and high numbers in sprints on the straight track, it’s always worth checking the race cards and betting information.
