20/10/2011 - *CHANGE* New Customer Offer

£10 Completely Free Bet

As of midday on Thursday 20th October, we will be changing our Sportsbook free bet offer to a £10 completely free bet, no deposit required

Why change?

As you will recall, we recently changed our free bet offer to a £30 matched bet to coincide with the launch of our TV campaign. Unfortunately, we haven't seen the uplift in registrations we had hoped for and so we have acted decisively to make this change.

Proven results

Until the recent launch of the £30 matched bet, we ran the £10 completely free bet across skysports.com and the 365 media network to great effect. As such, we have a CRM strategy that is proven to call upon.

Recent analysis shows that in the 24 days prior to the launch of the £30 matched bet, when we were using a £10 completely free bet offer across all channels except for affiliates, we generated 46% more depositing accounts than the 24 days after we launched the £30 matched bet. This proves that although you may expect the completely free bet offer to send lots of registrations, but less depositors, this is not the case.

What you need to do

If you changed your banners recently when we went to the £30 matched bet, these will update automatically. If not and you are still running old £35 in free bets creative, please log in and update them now. Customer landing pages will be updated by us and so you just need to update your content to reflect the new offer.

I apologise for the change of bonus after such a short period but hopefully you can see the necessity. I would like to thank you for your cooperation on this matter.

21/09/2011 - *NEW* £30 Free Bet

Big News...

Finally we can lift the lid on some exciting goings on at Sky Bet. We have a HUGE marketing campaign launching in October, this is Sky Bet's biggest ever campaign and will include a significant marketing budget being spent across various marketing channels, including; TV, affiliates, press, PPC, online display, pub posters/beer mats and many more.

For you, the big change is going to happen on WEDNESDAY 21st SEPTEMBER!

What will change?

Our new customer free bet will be changing to a simple £30 free matched bet for all affiliates.

Our loyalty scheme is also changing, instead of customers getting only free bets for repeat business, they can opt to have money off their Sky TV bill too. This comes in on October 10th.

We have spent a long time perfecting marketing materials that will be consistent across all marketing channels. New banners will be added to the affiliate system early Wednesday morning.

What do you need to do?

Change ALL banners and copy on your website that mentions the existing free bet offer. You will need to do this on Wednesday 21st September.

New banners and creative will be available in the affiliate hub from Wednesday morning so you will need to log in and take new banner code.

I will be sending a further 'reminder' email on Tuesday but in the meantime, if you have any questions whatsoever about any of this, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can work together to create a successful campaign.

09/09/2011 - New Affiliate Team

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Dean Leyland and I am the new Affiliate Marketing Manager at Sky Bet. I have previously worked for totesport and Betfred and have been in the affiliate industry for over 7 years now.

As you may know, Sky Bet recently launched the new affiliate programme, powered by the Income Access software. As part of this partnership, Deanna who is one of Income Access's affiliate managers is also working on the Sky Bet affiliate programme alongside me.

Going forward we are going to tentatively split our roles by product. Deanna will be looking after Poker and Bingo whilst I look after Sports (Bet) and Casino (Vegas).

However this is very flexible, we will both be involved in all aspects of the programme so please do not feel like you must speak to one of us specifically with regards to an issue/question you may have about a specific product.

The great thing we can offer you as part of our joint management of the programme is longer support hours of up to 15 hours per day!
